Certified Ethical Management Auditor training
CA$29.00
The Certified Ethical Management Auditor (CEMA) credential validates advanced competence in assessing, reviewing, and evaluating ethical management practices against GEMS. CEMA holders are qualified to independently examine whether ethical principles, standards, and controls are properly designed, implemented, and functioning as intended.
Unlike CEMP and CEMI, which focus on application and integration, CEMA focuses on verification, assurance, and evidence-based evaluation. Candidates demonstrate the ability to assess management decisions, systems, data practices, AI governance, stakeholder engagement, and operational controls through a structured and objective lens.
CEMA emphasizes professional judgment, independence, and analytical rigor. Certified auditors are trained to identify gaps between stated values and actual practice, distinguish surface compliance from substantive ethical maturity, and produce defensible audit conclusions.
This certification is particularly valuable in organizations facing regulatory scrutiny, public accountability, complex stakeholder environments, or high reputational risk. It supports internal audit, governance oversight, and independent assurance roles.
Typical roles suited for CEMA include:
Internal and external auditors
Ethics and compliance professionals
Risk and governance officers
Independent reviewers and advisors
CEMA confirms that the holder can credibly assess ethical management maturity and compliance, not merely advocate for it.
